LE PAIN QUOTIDIEN

One of my comfort zones is Le Pain Quotidien. No matter where I travel, it’s almost always there. The menu is the same everywhere, but they have seasonal specials, if I’m feeling adventorous. Most of it is organic, and they have a lot of healthy options. Ever tried going hungry in to a café in Paris, disappointed to find out they only have a croissant and black coffee for breakfast? Enter Le Pain Quotidien – your saviour!

Though they specialize in bread (baguettes, croissants and my favorite: the raisin bread) they also do lovely omelettes, granola, yoghurt and eggs for breakfast (my favorite is the Raspberry Crunola Parfait), salads, soups and open sandwiches for lunch and dinner. Oh and let’s not forget about the cakes … And their chocolate spreads!

I’ve tried Le Pain Quotidien in Paris, New York, L.A., London and even in Tokyo – all the same, and that’s meant in a very good way!
