What to do when the temperature rises in New York? Seek out a pool, of course.
Next to Brooklyn’s McCarren Park, you’ll find McCarren Hotel & Pool, part of the Chelsea Hotels. Their pool is one of the largest in the city, and even better; it’s a salt water pool. Who said surf chic hair in a dip?
A pool pass gives you access to the pool area, lounge area, towel service and wifi. For an extra fee you can enjoy life on the daybeds, complimentary bottle of rosé included. If you want to spend a whole day there, I recommend the latter.
When I was there on a weekday, the vibe was casual, but I imagine the weekends are much more festive.
If you’re spending summer in the city, this place is a must!
