I think I mentioned it before, but there’s an Italian craze going on at the Copenhagen dining scene at the moment. Never have so many great pizzas, pastas and burrattas been available in our city. And I love it!
Rufino Osteria opened last year, but has been kept a bit under the radar ever since. Situated in a basement in the lovely Christianshavn area, you won’t just stumble upon it. It’s a super casual eatery, where locals dine in the communal table, slurping delicious pastas and other Italian specialties.
The menu is short and simple, changing day to day. We went for the two antipasti: creamy stracciatella with pomodorini tomatoes and octopus with potatoes. And for the pasta? We couldn’t say no to a creamy carbonara.
Everything was molto bene! No wonder it’s a favorite of Rene Redzepi’s …
Though a lot of people just stop by for a casual dinner, I recommend booking a table. There’s nothing worse than a pasta disappointment.
