Mallorca is amazing – as always!

But this time is different, as I started my trip with a stay at hotel Sant Francesc in the heart of Palma.

I love Palma, it’s like a mini Barcelona, and I’ve always wanted to stay there. To wander in the small streets at night, watching the palm trees and buzzing cafés where people are enjoying life… But when I checked in at Sant Francesc, it was hard to even leave the hotel.

The old building has been totally renovated and opened the doors last year to what might very well be Palma’s most stylish hotel. Set on three floors, it’s not huge (but that’s a good thing) but offers a restaurant, a bar, a gym, a spa and last but not least a rooftop – with a pool!

And speaking of the rooftop – in the summer that is surely the main attraction of Sant Francesc. Overlooking the old town of Palma and the Sant Francesc church, it’s a pretty magnificent sight. The salt water pool is perfect for the hot summer days, and the bar will keep you hydrated with rosé, fresh smoothies and juices or detox waters; a mix of juice, sparkling water and fresh herbs.

The rooms are spacious and elegant, with features such as big mirrors (something I’m always missing in hotels), plenty of closet space, Nespresso machines and many of them has private balconies.

Furthermore the bar makes a mean aperol spritz and the breakfast buffet will satisfy all your morning dreams: eggs any style you like, various juices, pancakes, cheese, pastries, yoghurt, fresh fruits …

A lot of people (myself included) come to Mallorca to stay in the smaller towns by the water, but after my stay at Sant Francesc I could easily see myself staying in Palma the next time I’m here. The rooftop pool makes it the perfect hangout during the day, and everything’s within walking reach; lunch at cute cafés, a shopping spree or a drink at night. If you’re craving a beach day, Palma has plenty of options as well.

For an overnight stay or just a drink on the rooftop – I’ll definitely be back!

Jeg har luret på det hotel et stykke tid da jeg har haft lyst til at prøve et andet Palma hotel end Puro.
Jeg har ydermere hørt restauranten skulle være Fab?
