I’m back from Paris! It started out extremely cold, but by the last day, it was like spring – people lunching outside in the sun, and it was actually pleasant to walk around. I’ll get back soon with more insights from my trip, but first things first: the souvenirs.
As I always say, no trip to Paris without a stop at Le Bon Marché, and from their Let’s Go Logo campaign I got myself a new coffee cup for the office, an Isabel Marant one to keep my Balenciaga cup company.
Some shows come with a little extra, in this case Loewe had laid out different versions of books in their own print – because who wouldn’t want to read a classic clad in Loewe? Mulberry also got creative, and let their invite hold a cute pink silk scarf.
At the obligatory pharmacy raid I went for the Bioderma cleansing water (both big and small) but I also tried something new: a cleansing milk from A-Derma‘s Rheacalm line, without perfume. I use the Bioderma for removing eye makeup, but I like a cleansing milk or gel for the face.
When in Paris, there’s just something about the French designers, and now that Phoebe Philo is leaving Céline, I had to get a last bit of her – I’ve been looking for a new cardholder for a while, and this one is both classic and cute. It’s actually also a part of the special logo collaboration for Le Bon Marché. A red Chanel nail polish is a classic, but this (552 Resplendissant) has a tiny bit of coral to it – very nice for spring.
I always try to get a few snacks from Wild & The Moon to eat during the days, but this Love Bar made it home. It won’t be for long though …
The mesh bags are from Merci – I love that they’re smaller than you usually find them, and the French coloured one – it’s just perfect!
