While my ELLE girls and Mie are enjoying Fashion Week in Milan, I’m sitting this one over, and am instead packing my bags for Paris next week. I can’t wait. But in October I booked a weekend in Milan with my boyfriend, so I couldn’t help but do a little research anyway … Fashion week or weekend getaway – whatever the reason, you can always go to Milan. Not convinced? You’ll be after reading this …

Pavé Gelati & Granite

What is supposed to be one of Milan’s best coffee spots, Pavé (which I still haven’t tried, so there you go, that’s actually four spots to try) has now opened a gelateria as well. I’ll let the ice cream flavours speak for themselves … And granite? One of each, please!

Rossana Orlandi

Gallery, interior store, resturant, garden … Milan does concept stores like no other, and while you can’t miss a trip to Corso Como, it’s nice to try something else sometimes. And this looks like a great place to start.

Pasticceria Marchesi

Ever seen a pastry shop this pretty? It’s not a coincidence. It’s Prada. The Italian fashion brand has bought the iconic Pasticceria Marchesi, originally from 1824, and opened new shops in Via Montenapoleone and just this month in the ground floor of the Prada store in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. No more sugar lows while shopping!
