This summer I’m staying three weeks in New York, but I plan on spending some days on Long Island, more specifically Montauk.
Here’s what’s currently on my must try-list.
Ruschmeyer’s
Ruschmeyer’s is a hotel, kitchen and bar, and just a quick glance at their website makes me want to check in immediately. You’ll find me lounging in one of the hammocks in ‘The Magic Garden’ or in the restaurant run by the team of The Smile on Manhatten. See you there?

Chloe’s Soft Serve
No summer without ice cream, and I can’t wait to try Chloe’s Soft Serve made of fruit, water and a bit of organic cane sugar. Toppings and pretzel cone optional. If you’re not coming to Montauk, don’t panic, Chloe’s have outlets in New York too.
The Surf Lodge
How amazing does this place look? I plan to take up surfing, and where better to be inspired than hotel and restaurant The Surf Lodge? They’re also hosting concerts during the summer, just another reason to hang out there.
