Who doesn’t love eggs? For breakfast, lunch or dinner, eggs are the way to go.
If you share that idea, Egg Shop is your place. You’ll find it in what I like to call the breakfast triangle (because of all the good breakfast spots, like this) on the Lower East Side, it’s a small and cosy spot on Elizabeth Street.
I already dreamt about the eggs a few months ago, and they didn’t disappoint. In fact I stopped by twice, and had the chance to try both the egg sandwich (on the most perfectly toasted bread) and the Spandex bowl with a poached egg, miso, quinoa and tamari soy. So good!
This is the perfect breakfast or brunch place, but I’d love to try it for a casual dinner as well – they have a cocktail card, for those of you interested.
Egg Shop is a new favourite, because it is no less than eggcelent.
