Whoever said Tokyo was not a shopping destination was very wrong. A must to visit is Isetan, probably Tokyos most luxurious shopping mall. The Galeries Lafayette of Tokyo, you can say. Besides custom made kimonos on the top floor, a very well assorted beauty and cosmetics floor, all the fashion (from high end to contemporary) you can dream of and a mouth watering food floor, one thing stood out from all other shopping malls I’ve ever been to (and that says a lot …). All of the second basement floor is dedicated to organic foods, beauty and even a little café. The atmosphere was very calm, with a very nice scent and many brands I’ve never seen before. I filled my shopping bag with some Kora Organics and Uka nail oil. Uka is japanese, the packaging is really pretty and the oil is great for dry nails and cuticles. I could have spent hours down there …
