During my last trip to Mallorca, I got to visit the small town Soller for the first time. It’s about an hour from where I usually stay in Andratx, so a night at a hotel was much needed – and what better than to try out the newly opened Bikini Hotel?
It is one of few boutique hotels in the area and it is perfectly located with a stunning view over the bay. Who wouldn’t want to dine on this rooftop?
And staying in is exactly what I did for two days. Bikini Hotel has a great pool area inviting you to hang out all day sipping drinks under a straw umbrella. And speaking of straw and rattan, it’s quite a theme throughout the design of the hotel. Very cute and perfect for the hot climate.
All that sunbathing ought to get you hungry, but that’s no problem because the hotel has a pool bar to the rescue. The menu is Middle Eastern and offers hummus, falafels and sweet potato fries. All things that are hard to come by in Mallorca, and I could easily eat it several days in a row – which I did!
The rooftop restaurant is your spot for both breakfast and dinner, again with the Middle Eastern theme. The view is amazing, the food is really nice and here’s a tip for you: you can book for dinner even if you’re not a guest at the hotel.
All rooms have a balcony with lounge furniture and white breezy curtains, which means it works as extra room space, perfect for that lazy afternoon nap.
Bikini Hotel is a great place to sit back and chill, and isn’t that exactly what Mallorca is meant for?
If you’re looking for a chic and comfy stay, this is your place!
