This Monday I had the day off work, and I spent the morning with Hanna. After a brunch at Granola, we strolled down the street to this cute place; Central Hotel & Café. It is Copenhagen’s (and probably even the World’s) smallest hotel, because it only has one room on top of the café. How cute is that?
I haven’t had the pleasure of the room yet, but we enjoyed coffee in the one-room café. We started outside, though Monday was also the day we had the first snow this year (it was very beautiful, almost poetic, falling slowly from the morning sky). It was pretty freezing, but we cozied up in big blankets, and both agreed it was worth it for the photo …
Inside or outside, their coffee is great, and they also serve small snacks like pastries or grilled sandwiches. If you stay at the hotel, the breakfast serving comes from Café Granola, because it’s the same owners. You can enjoy it in-room or at the café.
I love the area around Tullinsgade and Værnedamsvej, it feels like a tiny bit of Paris in Copenhagen. And I love that so much is happening there, both Aesop and Mads Nørgaard has recently opened stores there.
Next time, I’m checking into the hotel …
