New year, new wishes, new travel plans and new destinations. 2015 took me a lot of places, here are the places I’m dreaming of going in 2016. A little ambitious maybe, but who says you can’t dream?
I’m quite familiar with Mallorca, but Ibiza is new territory. It’s only a 30 minute plane ride away, so maybe 2016 will be the year I embrace Ibiza? The newly opened Experimental Beach (by the French cocktail connoisseurs from this and this place) is only another reason to do it.
Bali has been a dream destination for a long time, and I have no intention of forgetting that. Apparently it’s raw/health food heaven, exceptionally beautiful and perfect for a relaxing holiday – that’s reason enough for me to go.

Laucala Island, Fiji
I spotted the Laucala Island resort on Instagram, and it pretty much looks like heaven on earth. 25 villas with private beaches, a spa, sustainable gardens providing the resort restaurants with fresh produce … You get the picture. This might be a dream destination of a lifetime, but wow it looks amazing!

A spring trip to Japan is already booked, which will be my second time there. However, this time I’m planning to swing by Kyoto. On the top of my Kyoto list is the Hoshinoya Resort – an old building on the river, only reached by boat, offering a serene and stress free experience. Doesn’t it look amazing?
This photo of Iceberg’s pool in Sydney is hard to miss on Instagram, but that doesn’t make it less desirable. I’ve never been to Australia, but with the hot climate, sublime coffee bars and fashion brands like Ellery, my heart tells me to go. Now!
