Sometimes you wanna take it up a notch, even for brunch. When you’re in that mood, go to Duck & Waffle. Up is literally the way, it is located on the 40th floor of the Heron Tower, making it the highest restaurant in the UK. This is not a casual place, but perfect for a special occasion.

I went for brunch, but you can enjoy both lunch, dinner or anything in between, because Duck & Waffle is open 24/7. Yes, that’s right, all night long, you can munch on their signature dish; a waffle topped with crispy duck and a fried egg. Other midnight snacks include bacon wrapped dates or how about a foie gras creme brûlée? Don’t worry, more common dishes such as granola and scrambled eggs was also on our brunch table.

If you can, try and stop by on a sunny day, because you have the best view over London. I’m looking forward to coming back at nighttime with a cocktail in hand.

Duck & Waffle, 110 Bishopsgate, London.
