If New York was my home, this would probably be my local spot. Epistrophy is not a new café, but I’ve been a fan for years.
Spring has finally hit Copenhagen, and that got me thinking of this hot summer night spent at Epistrophy last year in July.
This cozy Italian spot is perfectly placed in Nolita, and the small tables on the sidewalk is the perfect place to let the afternoon turn in to night while you’re sipping rosé and eating Italian delicacies. Burrata, meatballs, pastas – this is classic Italian at it’s best. Actually Sicilian, that’s where the owners are from. But best of all is the ambience of the place, very casual but caring, so you really feel at home.
Beware – they only take cash!
