Happy 1st of December!
It’s really getting cold in Copenhagen, which got me dreaming about my trip to Thailand back in May … The article from the trip is still yet to be released in an upcoming issue of ELLE, but I can reveal this hotel where I stayed for one night in Bangkok before moving on to Koh Samui.
I wasn’t familiar with Indigo Hotels before I checked in, and let’s just say I was pleasantly surprised! They have hotels all over the world, from Asia to Europe, but none of them look alike. Though Hotel Indigo is a chain, it’s hard to see. Each hotel is inspired by it’s surroundings; the one in Bangkok is placed right next to a green area, so to bring the green into the hotel, it was built with an open window and a tree on each floor, cool right? Another cool feature about these hotels is that the bathrooms are designed with a resemblance to a spa, so even the smaller bathrooms make you feel like pampering yourself.
Do I need to tell you that the pool overlooking the Bangkok skyline was amazing? After a long flight and a lot of jet lag, that was just what I needed.
After writing this, I’m longing to go back even more!
