I love Marni, and I looooove flowers. Those two combined? A match made in heaven.

And heaven is found in Japan, more specifically the third floor of Osaka’s Umeda Hankyu department store.

Can you imagine my excitement when I found out that a Marni Flower Café opened just a few weeks before I was jetting off to Japan?

And it’s just as cute as it looks! Not only can you enjoy Italian delights such as foccacia bread, pastries and a cup of coffee, you can also shop colourful baskets, mini bags and yes, flowers. Do I need to tell you I could have bought it all?

It reminds me of a flower market Marni set up during fashion week in Milan a few years ago – couldn’t imagine a more chic place to buy my flowers. Unfortunately that was only a pop-up – but luckily this café is not.

Here’s to hoping the flower café will also blossom in other destinations.
