There’s a chance you’ve seen the indulging food photos from Møller’s on Instagram, but if you’ve never heard about it, don’t worry. Since their opening in March this year they’ve been very quiet.
When I stopped by yesterday, it was everything but quiet. People were lining up outside, waiting for tables, the café was busy, and the coffee machine bustling.
Møller Kaffe & Køkken has a menu of 20-something small dishes to choose from. That means you can assemble your brunch plate to your specific wishes – whether that be eggs and bacon, sweet waffles and homemade chocolate spread, avocado and grilled asparagus or yoghurt topped with muesli. Everything’s available, and one thing is more delicious than the other. To be honest, it can be tough to choose!
Their concept is that you fill out the menu on your table, and go to the bar to order. The downside of this is that you might have to stand in line again just to order, and again if you want a refill of your coffee. The great food and cool interior definitely makes up for it, though, but now you’re prepared.
Møller’s is situated in Nørrebro, where good brunch choices can be hard to find. What’s even better is they serve only breakfast, but all day until 4pm.
I’d love to come back, maybe next time on a quiet weekday.
