Looking for lunch in downtown New York? Go for Navy.
Though it’s situated in the middle of bustling Soho, the day I stopped by Navy it was quiet and calm. A nice change to the busy city.
As the name and blue/white interior says, it’s a seafood restaurant. You can have everything from oysters to tuna crudo at night, but for lunch the menu is kept more simple. I tried the salad with cabbage, pickled goji berries, seeds and sesame dressing topped with the daily fish – it was fresh and filling, and unlike what you’d get at your usual lunch place.
Next time I’m coming back for dinner and a cocktail!
