Better late than never, here’s my diary from Paris Fashion Week. Paris is always a good idea, and this time was no exception!

Top photo by Imaxtree, Cecilie is wearing top, blouse and bag by Gucci, sunnies by Céline. I’m wearing a fur by Utzon, jeans by Monki and sunnies by Ahlem.

The night I arrived I was greeted by this stunning sunset. I glided right through the airport (when is your luggage ever the first to land on the belt? This time mine was!), just managed to drop my bag off at the hotel and make it to the Saint Laurent show. The venue was a raw construction site, and it was Anthony Vaccarello’s first collection as the new designer. Looks promising.

The first day felt like summer, so this shirtdress by Designers Remix was perfect. Had a few hours to stroll around Marais, where I had breakfast at this new favourite, did the mandatory stop at Merci and tried a new coffee place called Fragments.

In the afternoon I stopped by the cool Saks Potts girls. They had a showroom in the new Hotel Saint Marc – everything there was so beautiful, both the rooms and the collection. I fell in love (once again) with this fur that opened their show during Copenhagen Fashion Week.

My hotel was just next door to the Palais Royal, one of my favourite spots in Paris. The Café Kitsuné serves the best coffee, and I probably went there every day during my stay. I even had a chance to meet up with the designer behind my favourite eyewear brand Ahlem – in the pic is the ‘Madeleine’ style. She was so sweet!

The next day I had the pleasure of attending the Chloé show. My first one ever! I’m a huge fan of Chloé and seeing the show live only made me fall even more in love with the brand. The collection was amazing, and the soundtrack a cool mix of 70’s and 90’s – still trying to find the exact playlist!

I also stopped by the showroom of new brand Magda Butrym. It’s on everyones lips these days. I fell in love with this dress.

Later on I went to the Saint Laurent showroom. No photos allowed of the collection, but they also had their own little café serving Saint Laurent coffee and water. Too bad it’s not a permanent thing.

Tried to do some shopping at Galeries Lafayette. Considered the Chanel slingbacks, but couldn’t really make up my mind …

Isabel Marant had her show at Palais Royal at night. The setting was beautiful and so was the collection!

Parisian breakfast outdoors – is there anything better? I love that Paris has so many cute cafés.

On my way to the Acne Studios show. Loved the collection, and their Insta-worthy finale!

On Saturday I met up with Sarah from Mørch Fasion and Trine. We stopped by the Àeron showroom, a new brand from Budapest, that I’m really starting to fall in love with.

Afterwards we had a healthy lunch at this favourite spot. Their quinoa salad is really good! We also stopped to buy nail polish at this cute salon. Wearing slipdress and knit by Heartmade.

With me and Trines matching loafurs by Boyy (not planned, actually!) we walked over to the Dorothée Schumacher showroom. We picked our favourites from the collection, sipped champagne and hung out in that pretty pink velvet couch. Isn’t it great?

After that I rushed home to change, and went to a dinner hosted by Mads Nørgaard for the Danish press. The location was the new Hotel Grand Amour. The setting and the courtyard was so nice!

lavenueOn Sunday Editor in Chief Cecilie came to join me. We had lunch with Christian from Baum und Pferdgarten at L’Avenue – such a great people watching spot during fashion week.

celine And we managed to squeeze in some shopping. Well, we did leave empty handed, but I crushed on these Céline shoes. Too bad they were sold out in my size.

Au revoir Paris, see you again!
