So I got a new London favourite when it comes to restaurants – say hi to Spring!
I can’t believe I haven’t been here before, I guess London has so much to offer, it’s difficult to try it all.
But if you’re looking for a beautiful place with a seasonal menu with a big veggie focus, this is your spot!
Spring is located in Somerset House, which used to be the main area where fashion shows were held during London Fashion Week. It’s not so much anymore, but there’s still plenty of reason to go. The beautiful space has a lot of exhibitions, and besides Spring, there’s also a few cafes.
Fashion is still part of Spring though, as they host a lot of event dinners. That’s exactly why I was there, on my recent trip with Arket.
Tables are lined up outside the restaurant with trees and plants, and once you enter the restaurant you’re met by a stunning bar and a cute indoor courtyard. Look for the pink couches, they will lead you to the main dining room. And speaking of pink, so is the bathroom – talk about #bathroomgoals.
I went for two starters; courgette flower fritto with crab and mozzarella with bruschetta and peas – both really good. I had a look at the chocolate dessert, which looked amazing!
The menu changes often, but I wanted everything on it, so there’s definitely a reason to be back. Maybe on a date next time, as Spring is very romantic too.
