This is one of my new discoveries from Mallorca. If you asked me for one place to visit there right now, it would be The Sea Club.

You’ll find it inside the Cap Rocat Hotel, a stunning location just outside the Palma bay. The hotel itself is really worth a visit, but more about that another day.

The Sea Club is the more casual of two restaurants in the hotel, and has (not surprisingly) a maritime theme going on. You’re seated with an amazing sea view (the restaurant is open air), and the menu offers the catch of the day cooked in a traditional Mallorcan firewood oven and grill. Other classics such as goats cheese salad, tuna tatare and steak with fries are available as well.

The food is simple, but great, and the location just gets better during the night as the sun sets.

I can’t wait to come back here, and will recommend it to everyone coming to Mallorca – and the dresscode? Anything nautical, of course.

Open between April 30 and October 29, Ctra. d’enderrocat, s/n, 07609 Cala Blava, website
