There’s a new spot in town – meet De Maria. Located in the heart of what I like to call ‘the breakfast triangle’, you’ll find it on Kenmare Street.
So what’s up with Maria’s? While you go to Egg Shop across the street for well, eggs, and you go to Butcher’s Daughter next door for everything plant based and juiced – you go to De Maria for tahini yoghurt, your not-so-classic avocado toast with lavender cured salmon, chia pudding with dragon fruit and hibiscus syrup (pictured below) and a crazy good banana bread with cocnut and ginger. In other words: De Maria’s kitchen is a mix of healthy, exotic, classics.
What I also love about this place is the interior, a mix of industrial New Yorker-style with refined details and a bunch of natural light. In other words: a space that invites you to just hang out all day. And you can – that beautiful bar serves cocktails too.
