Last week I had a quick trip to London, I really love that place! The occasion? H&M is launching a new brand and store concept named Arket. They’re launching with stores in London and Copenhagen in the early fall – very exciting. Here’s what happened …
My flight was delayed so I had about 10 minutes to get ready before running out the door again. That’s a skill you master from business trips with a tight schedule. My best tip? A shoe change will get you far.
First stop was a preview of Arket …
The collection is very minimalistic and based on the idea that you only need a few good quality basics in your wardrobe.
After the preview we went straight to dinner at this pretty place.
As you can see it was a challenge not to photograph every corner of it. More about that spot very soon!
The morning after I headed out for breakfast – it was early and the city was quiet.
Tried a spot in Covent Garden that’s been on my list forever – also more about that soon.
Walked by Frenchie – one of my favourite Paris restaurants which has now opened in London.
Next stop: back to the Arket showroom to interview the creative director. The interview will be in ELLE soon!
Before heading to the airport I had a few hours and decided to spend them in Notting Hill. Had my first ever turmeric latte at this spot – it was actually pretty good. A nice alternative to coffee!
For lunch I strolled down Westbourne Road road to this favourite. It’s always really busy for brunch and lunch, but so worth the wait. These are their zucchini fritters – yum!
It was a short but good trip – can’t wait to come back!
