THE LINE

Choosing a hotel in LA is difficult because no matter where you decide to stay, you’re always going to drive around the different areas. LA has so much to offer, it’s a shame not to explore.
That being said, it’s also a shame to live Downtown if you know you’re gonna be spending a lot of time in Venice.

Last time I was there, I decided to try The Line. It’s located in Koreatown, not far from Hollywood, Downtown and Silverlake. Koreatown has a lot of things going on right now, and many new restaurants and bars are opening.

While many other hotels in LA can be a bit old fashioned, The Line is very modern! And by that I mean that the rooms have everything you need – but nothing more. A big bed, a stunning view and of course free wifi (not all hotels have that, surprisingly!)
For your morning coffee you don’t have to settle for the classic in-room coffee, because the lobby also has an in-house cafe with takeaway goodies.
Not to mention the custom mini Mast Chocolate waiting for you in your room.

Other cool features on this hotspot counts the rooftop pool, the greenhouse café The Commissary and the shop Poketo selling everything from ceramics to notebooks.

The Line wants to make sure you have a good time. The lobby bar is popular, but they also have their own hidden club Break Room. Don’t worry – the sounds won’t reach the rooms.

The beautiful view from the room is the Hollywood Hills, which is perfect for a morning hike (the best way to cure last nights hangover!). Runyon Canyon is only a short drive away, and you have an amazing view of the city!

I would definitely recommend a stay here, but as LA is so big, it’s a good idea to combine with a stay at another location.
