One of the places from my LA trip I still dream about is Little Beach House in Malibu.
I was meeting up with eyewear designer Ahlem, and when she suggested we met here, I was thrilled!
Little Beach House Malibu is part of the Soho House Group, and after visiting their Berlin hotel over New Year’s I knew I was in for a treat. It’s a members club, but what makes the Malibu house extra special, is that your regular Soho House membership doesn’t include this one. You need a specific Malibu membership, and you actually need to live in the Malibu or Venice area. Luckily, Ahlem does. And luckily for me, she can bring guests.
Remember Nobu in Malibu? Little Beach House is just next to it, so the view is just as stunning. In fact, everything about the Malibu House is stunning; the decor, the menu, the staff. It seems like Soho House can’t do anything wrong. Yes, I’m not going to hide that I’m a fan!
We went for brunch, and I had the bircher muesli, but I wanted everything! The egg white omelette, the matcha bowl and the lemon ricotta pancakes … Guess I’ll have to come back! For drinks on a warm summer evening wouldn’t be that bad …
